The best way to find out if life coaching can help
you in your present situation is to opt for the
free introductory life coaching
session. That way you will have an opportunity to see if you
think it will help.
How much does a life coach cost? My life coaching fees can be found on my

What if I don't live near a life coach? Although some clients like to meet their life
coach face to face, others prefer the anonymity of life coaching by
phone, or simply find it convenient to talk to their life coach from
the privacy of their own home or place of work.
How many life coaching sessions will I need? The number of life coaching sessions you would need
depends on the issues you want to work on – but in order to see
progress it would probably be necessary to have at least 6 sessions.
The frequency of life coaching sessions can be as often as you like.
Some clients prefer more than one life coaching session per week,
but they can be weekly, fortnightly or even monthly – it's up to
Do you do life coaching by phone?
Yes. In fact some of my clients prefer their life coaching sessions
to be conducted this way as they live far away, or just find
telephone coaching more convenient.
Are there any problems which can't be helped
by life coaching? Not very many, however, there may very
occasionally be times when, for some people, it is necessary to
explain that life coaching might not be right for them just at this
moment. Life coaching is designed for responsible, resourceful
people. That means that if you are being treated by a doctor for a
particular problem, such as clinical depression, drug-related
problems, etc, or if you are involved in any legal/financial issues,
life coaching may not be suitable for you just at the moment.
What's the difference between life coaching
and counselling? They are related, but only because
they are about helping people to change. Counselling concentrates on
helping people come to terms with their past in order to move on,
but life coaching is more forward-looking. It's about identifying
where you are now, where you want to get to, planning how you are
going to get there, and then taking action to achieve your goals.
For some people it is helpful to get some counselling before
starting life coaching as Counselling is more about "clearing the
ground" and life coaching is "planting the seed, then nurturing and
helping it to grow".
Who uses a life coach? Until
recently the only people who employed a life coach were top-class
sports people, whereas now the benefits of life coaching are
available to anyone, in any walk of life, whether they be private
individuals or people in business, men or women, and no matter what
age. It's never too late to make changes. Life is too short to put
up with things we are unhappy about and a life coach can help you to
make the necessary changes.
